Lower Keys Medical Center (LKMC) is a full-service hospital providing high-quality care for Key West residents. As the only hospital in the Lower Keys, LKMC acts as the first line of defense in medical emergencies and helps ensure that essential health services are available for our community.
In 2024, we provided care for more than 134,000 patient encounters across our hospital, physician clinics and other sites of care. This includes more than 23,000 ER visits and 3,300 hospital admissions.
LKMC is accredited by the Joint Commission, is an accredited Chest Pain Center, and has earned recognition as a Primary Stroke Center.
